I am always using ideas from this blog, but thought this post was particularly good and it has lots of ideas which I thought others might like too!

Love this! And so relived to see my kids have at some point done nearly all of these things ;D I'm cursing DH less now for creating the "mud pit" in the garden for the kids :P ;D Also we are v lucky to have a children's centre a 2 min walk away that does messy play! Shaving foam and water play aplenty and none of the mess at my house :)

LOL, Charli, I do have to often remind myself that sometimes we make a mess and it's a good thing, as far too often I'm put off by it and then don't do it.  But, the kids always love it, and then it's worth it.
