Title: 18 weeks and every 2 hours!
Post by: mummy2boys on April 11, 2013, 06:27:00 am
I really want to get to 4hr but I can't even get 3hr at the moment! My dd only drinks 4/5oz per feed but wants them every 2-2.5hrs. Any advice?!

Just a few questions -

Any signs of reflux?
Reflux 101 - General reflux information

Has she always been a snacker or is this a new thing for her?  Does she have a DF?  Any NFs?  Have you started solids at all (it's too early if you have)?

No signs of reflux , no night feeds, no dream feeds!
Yesterday she had 3oz. Every 2 hours?

What flow teat do you have her on? Have you tried a faster one? What's her behaviour like when she feeds - is she calm or is it a struggle?

Fingers crossed that this is the start of something!  If she can handle the level 3 - go ahead with it.  If not, stick withe size 2.  Either way, choose one size and don't switch around, it will just confuse her.
