Hi
My son was exclusively bf and i have been slowly introducing ff bottle. He feeds happily and currently has 3 8oz bottles and a morning plus bedtime bf.the problem
Is I can't get him to bottle feed every four hours. He wants 4oz every 2 hours and seems full. It's as though his tummy won't take more! It's makes a 4 hour EaSY
Very tricky! He's 5.5 months and weighs 18lb 6oz. He currently
Has one nf or sleeps through.
Any tips for increasing his milk intake. He's titally
Disinterested after about 4oz x

24 ozs of formula plus 2 BFs a day is a good amount.
Just want to clarify, you say he has 3 8oz bottles, but only 4 ozs at a time?? So he is actually having 6 4 oz bottles??
If this is the case, he is snacking.. offer a full feed and then do whatever you can to distract him until it has been 2.5 hrs.. then feed. he should take a bigger feed and last a bit longer until next feed..
