Title: 6 months and still up all night!
Post by: vreitsma on July 29, 2013, 14:52:45 pm
So my little man is doing well during the day. Taking two 1.5-2 hour naps and a little catnap occasionally, in the afternoon.
He is on the 4 hour routine and doing very well... then there is night time. Despite our best efforts NOTHING is working.
Pu/Pd, Shh-pat, even a little fussing to self soothe (no more than 5 min) and nothing is working.
At first we thought it could be bad habits, but there is no pattern to his waking.

Any ideas?? I'm getting desperate here and don't know how much longer I can function on no sleep :(

Hugs Hun for the nw's.  sorry but I'm going to ask a bunch of questions to try to figure out what the problem is.
What times during the night is he waking up?
How long do his nw's last?
What is he doing when he wakes (crying, chatting, rolling or sitting)?
Do you feed him in the MOTN?
Has he started solids?  If yes, what is he eating?  How often are his meals and when was he introduced to solids?  Is he breast fed or formula fed?
Has he had any problems with constipation?
Does he have any teeth or is he teething?
Also could you post his routine in the following format so we can take a look?
Wake up 7:00
E 7:05
Breakfast 8:30
S 9:45 to 11:15
Etc.
Sorry for the number of questions but there's lots going on at 6 months so more info will be very helpful!
