You know how you start with processed milk, then baked, then heated, cheese etc... where does chocolate come?
Olly hates cheese and anything baked with milk in and I am not brave enough to go full on yoghurt. I think ice cream is just cold milk but frozen?
He may eat chocolate though.

Ice cream is equal to straight cow's milk in terms of reactions!
I have a friend with an LO with FPIES and her GI gave her a list of reactivities - will see if I can get a copy to share!

My son is allergic to milk and he has had contact reactions to chocolate in the past. I would think there is a much higher chance of seeing a reaction with chocolate than with baked milk.

Hey BB - got the list.. she took a pic of the page with her phone for me! Things at the top are most likely to cause a reaction and the things within each box are fairly close to equal in terms of the chance of a reaction. She was told to try whatever is at the bottom of each box as she moves up the page...

Thanks - can't believe chocolate comes under the nuts section!

I'm thinking it's because there is such a high risk for nut cross contamination with chocolate :)

As children, both my brother and I were allergic to all tree nuts and chocolate. Also to shellfish and milk, but the reactions were less mild. Fortunately we outgrew all our allergies in our teenager years.
