Title: 12 month old not wanting milk.
Post by: ills84 on October 20, 2013, 21:07:48 pm
Hi everyone

Iam hoping to get some advice in regards to my LO and her feeding. She is 12 months old, we dropped down to 2 bottles at 10 months and she was drinking between 150-180mls in each. Now in the past month she is only drinking 90-100mls in each, her food intake hasn't gone up either. Now I have been offering a soppy cup with cows milk in the morning with breakfast as she was only take 40-60mls in the morning from a bottle and not really eating breakfast. She doesn't even have any of this milk in the morning. I've kept the BT bottle and she drinks about 90-120mls. Should I be worried?

I wouldn't worry too much at all.

What is she eating in terms of solids? Is she getting enough dairy?

How is her sleep?

She's having 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. At the main meals she has weetbix or oats for bfast, 1/4 sandwich and yogurt for lunch and dinner would be veggies meat combo about 2 tbs and either custard or yogurt. Snacks are fruit, biscuit or cheese.

Her sleep seems ok, 1.5-2hrs at her nap and about 11-11.5 hrs overnight.

Hi ills, old have written your post (but with less intake!) t has decided he doesn't much fancy his neocate (and I don't blame him) I'm off to discuss with our dr on Friday but I suspect I'll be told that off is diet is balanced and he drinks enough water then not to worry too much. ::)

Looks like her dairy intake is great!

Hi zacsmummy

How are you and T going? It sounds like out Los are very similar. I've still been offering her cows milk in the morning with bf in a sippy cup and even tried a bottle this morning with no luck. She will take her BT bottle which I sill give formula and last night she drank 180mls ( hope it's a new trend as she hardly ever takes that).

I think if it was up to her she would eat yogurt all day lol.

Good luck at the dr.
