Yes it is probably my two's favourite veg. They eat them raw and whole or cooked. They love them out of a slow cooked casserole/stew but will eat them steamed too. I do find though that if they are cooked they like them well done not firm like DH and I would eat them.

maybe i should give them to her steamed a little bit and see if she actually swallows them. i rarely eat cooked carrots, mainly raw.

I just do canned cooked carrots for now because it's quicker and that way if he refuses a mess of carrots doesn't go to waste.. But most of the time he popps them in his mouth like candy he loves them. Carrots, peas, beats, and avocado are on rotation here.

Yes both boys love them.  I'm not a huge fan of cooked carrots unless it's with a roast or something so we mainly have them raw.  We made a big deal out of how long they 'crunched' when they bit into them when they were younger and they loved it!

Audrey will eat cooked carrots and have a go at raw ones but I don't know if it is teething or what but she won't swallow them. She chews them up and spits them out.

They're pretty hard to chew to a reasonable swallowing texture without molars. I used to gag on raw carrot until I had my adult molars.

I think she just can't chew them up small/fine enough yet. Same with nuts. She likes them and chews them but can't swallow them.

Dd1 loves carrots cooked or raw. Give dd2 cooked carrots and she tries to feed it to the dog ( who doesn't like carrots either lol) in the reverse dd2 will eat peas and green beans which dd1 won't touch even with a bribe of chocolate lol

DD loves steamed carrots.  However, she will only chew on the raw ones and spits them out.  Or she feeds me the raw ones instead of putting them into her mouth.

Same here. DD loves cooked carrots and eats them just fine.  She seems to like raw carrots and will put them in her mouth and chew, but always spits them.  Can't even blame teeth now as she has them all!

E likes carrots sometimes but she doesn't like cooked ones unless they're almost mush - she does like raw ones but prefers them cut in little disks rather than sticks.

So weird because my DD still does this at nearly four! She loves cooked carrots and likes raw carrots too but she often spits raw ones in the bin once she has chewed them saying there is too much in her mouth!

So funny so many are doing this! I steamed them just a touch for a long time and they both would eat them. They will both eat a bag of them raw now, though.
