Title: Baby sitting up and straining during feeds
Post by: spiritedmama on April 30, 2014, 03:59:49 am
Help!

LO does this with me and OH but not at childcare. He acts hungry, give him the bottle, he sucks for a few seconds, grunts and strains and tries to sit up, but still acts hungry - it takes over an hour to get a bottle into him this way. He's been doing it for over a month now. He's 4 months old. Only does it with us two tho!!

Is he ready for the next size nipple perhaps? Otherwise I would suggest feeding in a quiet, dimly lit room to minimize distractions.

as in next flow size up? i.e. flows quicker? it's not distraction cos childcare is way more stimulating and they have no issues!
