Title: Is it strange...
Post by: BabyKain12 on May 20, 2014, 20:45:53 pm
My 18 mo LOVES books. That's not the strange part. What's weird is that we gave him board books while he was younger and he "read" them, but he also destroyed them. Completely. So we put the paper books up only to be read while supervised. Lately, he's found some paper books (ones from cereal boxes etc.) that he really took care of, and I've left him a dr. Seuss book that he takes care of, but he STILL tears up his board books, tears up the mail paper if I give it to him, anything... Except the paper books... Is that weird? I can't figure out why he isn't tearing up all the books... Not that it's an issue, just a quirk. I actually love it and find it very interesting...

It is interesting.  Apparently he's only happy with the real thing!
