Title: Typo in the book or it's me...?
Post by: LionessHome on July 24, 2014, 18:38:49 pm
My DD is 4 months and a half. We are trying to extend the naps with the gradual table that BW offers on page# 230 - chapter: "Changing you 4 month olds day to solve sleep problem at night". On the 4-7 days the authors suggest to extend 15 min sleep, however on the 12:15pm nap that suppose to be until 1:30 it says until 1:15...then to have ONLY 45 minutes activity (before the 2hr naps), which doesn't make sense. Also the 2hr naps that supposed to start at 2:45 ends at 4:15..we are so confused....Any suggestions - please help!

Thank you SO much!

The Lioness ;-)

Yes that page is very confusing and presumably a typo (since Tracy has passed away we can't get a definitive answer). Have a look at this FAQ which should help. Time to Transition - 3hr, 3.5hr or 4hr EASY

No, if they wake from the third full nap around 5.30 then there is no time or need for another nap usually. This FAQ may be even more useful for you. 3-4hr EASY Transition – In 5 Minute Increments
