Title: 4:30am crib party for 9.5 month old
Post by: 1sttimemamma on August 28, 2014, 11:58:09 am
What do happy wakings at 4:30am mean? OT or UT?

Yesterday he woke at 7:45am
Nap 12 - 1:35 (I put him down at 11:45, but he played till noon) and then I had to wake him.
Nap 5:48 to 6pm
BT 8pm
Woke at 4:30 pretty happy. Now it's close to 5am and he's getting a little upset.

This is the 2nd night in a row.

I'm very happy for the good sleep, especially from how many night wakings we used to get. Just curious if my schedule is off.

Sorry you've not had a reply until now hun. How's it going now? Still having those cot parties?

They tend to signal UT but your routine looks like that can't really be the case. I might look at extending that first A though slightly if he's playing around before that nap. I would look at pd around 11.55 or so.

How's the BT? Does he fall asleep pretty easily there? Any OT early wakings soon after BT?
