Title: Long A time
Post by: Nickie18 on January 09, 2015, 21:40:20 pm
My 9.5 month old is on a 5 h A time now... Is that crazy? Less time she was short napping. Now takes one long nap around 2-3 hours long. Sleeps through night on and off. Seem ok?

WOW! Sounds good to me! That is a high A but it sounds like you have your LO figured out well and have responded appropriately. Good work, Mama! Enjoy that long nap. :)

What is a god EASY schedule for that A time? Right now we have:

wake: 7
bottle: 7:30
breakfast: 8:30
bottle: 11:30
nap: 12-2
lunch: 2:15
bottle: 4:15
dinner: 6pm
bottle/bed by 7:30

Triedto drop teh bottle before nap and do lunch and she woke up thirsty... maybe do bottle and lunch at same time to get on schedule with our 2 year old lunch?

Also worried that she woke at 6:30am this morning and would needto try to get 2 naps?

Thanks!

HELP!

Now she is only napping for 1.15h! At 5 h A time, same even at 5.45h A time.

Not sure what to do- she wakes happy and is not fussy but definitely seems tired.

She woke today at 6am and only 1.15h nap. do we do 2 naps? do i try going to nap earlier? she is soooo confusing.

Oh argh! I would try to put a CN in there somewhere late PM with whatever form of AP you can handle. I would put here down whenever you think she will have a decent nap, usual A time would work and then a CN late PM. Where are you with teeth?

We tried to do a CN and she just cries and does not sleep. We have been putting her to bed early, like 6:30/6:45pm. She is a very happy baby and has always been very hard to tell her sleep cues. But then she wakes even earlier. We may need ot start feeding her if she wakes early again to get her back to sleep. She slept from 6:45-6:15 last night...

SHe currently has 8 teeth already and no new ones seem to be coming, but you never know! If she goes to sleep that early, I will never see her in the afternoon since I get home around 6:30pm...
