Title: wonder week calculation
Post by: 1stimer on January 24, 2015, 01:15:22 am
I'm confused if I take in to account ds being 6 weeks early or not? I feel like we have one going on bc he's hard to go down for naps and bed time when before I could just lay him down, and we had 2 nights where he was getting much better at stretching out his time between feeds but that's all gone out the window!!

I haven't read the book but do have the app. It talks in terms of x amount of weeks after due date so that seems like you would take into account he was early and he'd go through them 'late' when thinking of his actual age.

Based on due date, not birth date.  the idea is that the brain development of a baby born 6 weeks early is not the same as one born at due date :)  So you use baby's age based on expected due date.

Not free currently, typically  ::) ::). Although inexpensive and I have just learnt Thomas is starting one in 3 days, which I am not sure I am very pleased about really  ::) :P.

Yeah its not free...it think it was 4.99 maybe? So his expected dd was July 18th so I go from there?

Yes start with due date. I think the app was 1.99 or 2.99 when I got it last month.
