Lewis and Leo have started solids about 3wks ago and they seem to be quite enjoying different foods. We normally have a few tsps at dinner which is the least hectic time of the day. I'm going with the Annabel karmel book she suggests two meals after 1or 2 wks.

Do they show an interest in solids at other times? Do they see you with your lunch and fuss for some? If so I would take that as a good cue to increase to 2 meals. Or perhaps just sit them in the high chairs and pop a bit of something you're having on their trays as finger food? I would think finger foods would be ideal so everyone can eat at once, including you!

Hi, they do look to see what we are doing but not really fussing. Whenever I give the meal at dinner times they do get excited and I did offer some toast and again they seem excited so maybe I will go with another.
Our highchair has been borrowed at the moment so will have to get it returned so we can get started!

Those ikea antilop high chairs are fabulous if you find yourself needing to get another. Only £13 too.

Yes that's the one we have already, bargain aren't they! ;D

Mine was even more of a bargain - free from free-cycle!!! Could not believe my luck!

That is a bargain ;D
I offered them banana porridge this morning and they loved it! They were both so excited so I think they are quite happy with another meal.
