Title: Confusion on EASY Schedules
Post by: kstory11 on October 25, 2015, 17:32:06 pm
OK so I'm new to this and am a little confused…

Page 25 in the book shows a sample schedule (4 week old) that displays 6 feeding plus a dream feed (7 feed total). On the bottom is has a note that you should combine the 2 cluster feeds into 1 feed by 8 weeks. If I do that that means 5 feedings plus dream feed (6 total)…

However on page 95 where they suggest how much to eat it says for "6 weeks - 4 months" to have "6 feedings PLUS dream feed" which is 7 total. Should I still be dropping a feed at 8 weeks just increase the intake per feed?

I guess I'm confused as when to transition to that. Thanks!

In general Honey what Tracy suggested was:
- 5-6 feeds per day + dreamfeed + needed NFs up to 4mo
- 4 feeds a day + dreamfeed + needed NFs up to 7mo
- 4 feeds a day and aim to drop dreamfeed and NFs if solids established

But this is a rough guidelines. Use cluster feeding longer if you need. I also used it when on 4h easy as lasting from 3pm till 7:00pm was too much for my DS.
