These night wakings (typically in the first 3 hrs) started a week ago. At first we thought he's teething, but he's the same with baby paracetamol. He cries hysterically for an hour and nothing helps. He's been on e.a.s.y. since 1 month old, so it's not like we don't know what we're doing. But l just can't figure out what's up and how to comfort him and not have these 60 minute crying sessions.
We recently weaned him from night feeding (did the 21-day plan for cutting the dream feed), but otherwise he sleeps very well at night. Oh, and actually l am seeing 1 toothish kind of thing (his first), so perhaps it is teeth, but why the crying exactly for 60 min?

Ok, it must be teething. Today l discovered the tips of three teeth.

Sorry you didn't get an answer yet, I've had a very poorly DD. Glad to see you've found the cause of it though. Pop back if you need to xx
