Title: 5 mo EASY
Post by: Adelheid on January 12, 2016, 07:40:55 am
My now 5mo old LO just started doing longer stretches at night.
We're at 4hrs now which is great, I think.
I'm wondering if I should continue feeding her throughout the night when she wakes up or if I should try to get her back to sleep without the feeding?
Last night her sleep was the following:
Asleep at 6:30
Dream Feed 9:30
First Feeding 1:30
Second Feeding 5:30
Awake 8am.

Also, the 5am wake up is a routine wake up, so I guess I should not be feeding at that time, right? ;)

It looks fine to me...exactly what my DD2 & DD3 were doing at that age (though no df for DD3 she never took to that!). Personally I kept those early morning feeds as it was an easy way to get them back to sleep. You could attempt to settle without a feed just to see but if she wakes soon after or does not settle I imagine she stil needs the feeds.
