Title: 31 mo old getting hyper before bed and having meltdown

I can't quite figure out what's going on with my lo. He's been completely done with naps for almost 3 months now and he's been doing a 12 hour day lately ( asleep by 8 awake at 8).  It seems as though he's exhausted at night sometimes not even interested in reading books before bed. But at the end of bath he gets upset and starts crying and having a tantrum on the floor and the whole time I'm getting his diaper and pjs on. The only thing it seems like is when he's ot although now that he's older I don't nice a behavior change if he's ot or ut. He also seems to get wired before we go up for bedtime routine. Any suggestions ? Thanks

I'd bring bath time earlier, prob hyper as OT!

Yup I agree.  I think some residual OT persists after the nap drop for a long time to come and the odd mini nap was necessary here for quite some months x
