Title: 15 month old nap question
Post by: firsttimemomnh on February 15, 2016, 20:23:57 pm
Hi, I read that the daytime sleep for a 15 month old is 2 hours but my LO wants to sleep more than two hours during his once a day nap. Should I let him sleep or will it mess with his night? He goes to bed at 7:30 and wakes up around 6:15. Thanks a lot!

Depends on the child! My DD2 had regular 3+ hour naps from 10 months on (when she went to one nap) up until she was about 2.5 and still had great night sleep. On the other hand my DD3 rarely slept that long and needed her naps capped early to preserve nights. I would say let him sleep as long as he will for a few days and see what happens!
