So, at this point LO wants to do A times of 2hrs, but I was advised to feed him more often than every 3hrs (for weight gain issues and GERD), which does not coincide with his schedule at all... he would end up feeding during naps. Help!

Hi Sarah! Can you top him up before his nap or do you think that will create a snacking habit?

Or move your CN earlier in the day, something like:
WU 7am
E 7/7:15
A
S 9-9:45
E 10am
A
S 11:30-1 (shorter A to hopefully avoid OT)
E 1pm
A
S 3-4:30
E 4:30 (ends up being 3.5hrs between feeds)
A
E (BT top up)
S 6:30pm

6:05 WU
7:00 Feed (1 tablet NP6x)
7:30-8:00 Play (A=2.02)
8:07-9:42 Nap (1.35)
9:45 Feed (1 tablet NP6x)
10:30-11:15 Play (A=1.38)
11:20-12:09 Nap (0.49)
12:15 Feed (1 tablet NP6x)
1:00-1:40 Play (A=2.01)
2:10-2:20 Nap (0.10)
2:45 Feed (1 tablet NP6x)
3:15-4:30 Play (A=2.20)
4:40-5:12 Nap (0.32)
5:30 Feed (1 tablet NP6x)
6:00-7:00 Play (A=3.40ish)
7:10 Feed
8:40 Feed
8:55 Bedtime
yesterday's schedule... it was so all over the place
and he needs to feed every 2-2.5hrs, thats the prob

That does make it tricky :-/ Could you do something like this:
7 - WU, feed
8:30 - feed
9 - nap
10:30 - feed
12 - feed
12:30 - nap
2 - feed
3:30 - feed
4 - nap
5:30 - feed
7 - feed
7:30 - BT
Its more frequent feeding than 2-2.5hr but really, he's got to be able to sleep to put on weight too, yk?
Alternately, you could do one feed in one A time, then 2 feeds in the next, something like this:
7 - WU
8 - feed
9 - nap
10:30 - feed
12 - feed
12:30 - nap
2 - WU
2:30/3 - feed
4 - nap
5:30 - feed
7 - feed
7:30 asleep in bed for the night
