Title: Teething 15 month old only wants to BF

Hello!

My DS is cutting 3 molars! He's been teething these guys since July. He upped his nursing exponentially. He still eats solids although sometimes his appetite is not so great. I know he nurses for comfort bc sometimes he doesn't even drink. I don't necessarily mind as he is clearly uncomfortable. My concern is his nursing to sleep where he doesn't even want a bedtime story. That was always part of our routine since he was a newborn.

Has anyone gone through this? Am I in for it when they finally come in. I definitely want to wean afterwards. He was weaning before the molars started but now it feels like I have a newborn  :o

I guess I'm looking for experiences and/or reassurance.

Sorry your post was missed. How are things now? Wanting extra feeds for comfort and pain relief is very common, yes.

Hi!

Well things are a bit crazy as he is cutting 4 molars and has a throat infection so nursing is still at an all time high.

Oh bless. Sounds like he needs it at the moment. Breastmilk is great medicine.
