Title: Teething and Naps
Post by: Fer_hercules on October 05, 2016, 19:17:14 pm
My baby girl is 7 months old and she has been great about napping and slepping through the niight since we put her on the EASY schedule when she was 2 months old.
Three  weeks ago she started teething and having problems with naps. She usually takes 1.5 to 2 hrs nap twice a day. This week she is been taking only 30 min naps and she is so grumpy because she is tired and uncomfortable. She is sleeping through the night but she is not taking good naps. Any advice?

If it's just down to teeth then I give pain meds pre-nap (say 30-45 mins before), as per manufacturer's instructions and that often helps.  That and knowing it doesn't last forever!!  An early bedtime or an extra little catnap can help make up for lost sleep too x
