My 16 mo lo has started waking earlier in the am. His schedule is up around 645 nap 12-2 bedtime around 7/730 depending on his nap. Hes got two molars cutting through also. This week some days his naps are only 1.5 when they are usually 2 + and he’s waking earlier I’m not even sure what time as he always plays quietly but the earlier I wake I notice he’s up already and not as happy to wait. The nap time has to be 12 for now with older childs schedule. But I’m also noticing he’s really cranky by lunch time not eating well and real fussy getting a new diaper and going down for nap. Once he’s in crib he passes out! It’s almost like he’s ot! Can’t figure it out.

Hi it could be teeth related, I’d see what happens after molars come through.

I think you are right. He’s all over the place. Some days up at 6 am some after 7. Naptime some days he’s taking a while to fall asleep too. I’m sure los his age are napping later but 12-2 works best for our family with the older ones school schedule so I’m trying to keep him there as long as I can. He’s still going to sleep around 7/730. I assume when the nap gets pushed later he’ll be up later?

He may just keep 12-2 and then go 12.30-2 when he needs less. My nearly 2 year old goes 12.30/2.15, 2.30 as we have school pick up at 3 and it doesn’t affect his wake up.

What’s his bedtime and when does he get up in the morning ?

He wakes up between 6.15/6.45 and goes to bed 7.15/7.30
