Title: 2-1 Transition EWU + depression
Post by: Bkalls on April 29, 2018, 12:47:56 pm
 but I’ve honestly tried everything
-14 month old
-2-1 transition over two weeks now
- waking at 5am despite what time she goes to bed

Yesterday went
5wake up
11:30-2:15 nap
7:00 bed routine
7:30 she fell asleep.. ugh (but she usually goes right to sleep)
And was up at 5:00

Day before she was in bed at 6pm and she slept till 5 am, I’m at a loss, and these early wakings trigger my depression 😭😭😭

Hi I’d prob try cutting the nap down to 2 hours as with 3 hours day sleep a 9/10 hour night isn’t too bad.

Welcome to BW forums :)
Really sorry to hear the EW triggers depression for you.  I hated the EWs I was so exhausted but luckily for me I did not suffer depression. Many hugs.

Maybe try shifting the nap to 11.45 for a few days and then 12pm so that it comes later. Doesn't necessarily mean a later BT if she can do an 11hr night on a shorter second A time like you said she did BT at 6pm and WU at 5am so with a later nap you could perhaps still do 7pm BT routine and S and perhaps get a better WU the next day.
