Hello
So I have started to try and follow the EASY routine and have managed to get the weenone to sleep for 30 mins, 45 mins, but he is feeding every 1 1/2 hours... in the book it's says 2 1/2 to 3 hours.... is this normal? I'm so drained.
Oh and he is an alert baby.

totally normal. at that age he is building up your supply. the advice in the book is outdated. the WHO recommends feeding on demand, I wouldnt worry too much about EASY and schedules at that young age. is he your first? just try to enjoy the cuddles and get comfortable on the sofa with loads of snacks and netflix while you feed...

Ah ok thankyou. No he is my second. As I was following the book I thought to question it. Yeah am feeding on demand. Formula did cross my mind because of his forever feeding and questioning if there was enough for him... nipples are abit sore too. I will persevere though.

6 weeks is also a classic time to have a big growth spurt and a lot of mums stop BFing at this age because they think their supply is too low. Keep feeding and it will come good :) You're doing well, mama.
