I've noticed this week that my baby (3.5 weeks old) keeps rooting after a full feed (15-20 mins per breast). I do a diaper change after the feed and around 5 minutes later, he would start rooting. I checked my milk supply by pumping in between sessions and I should have sufficient milk to feed the baby. When I put baby back on breast because he's rooting, he sucks a bit but its different than when he's actually hungry.
Does anyone else have this experience? Should I introduce the pacifier to him for comfort sucking?

At this age, he may well be tired and trying to get to sleep. I would try swaddling him +/- dummy (pacifier) and popping him down for a nap. He's tiny and 40-50mins is probably all he can do A time-wise.
If he were hungry, of course you would feed but it sounds like you're fairly certain he's not hungry, just looking to suck.

How are nappies? Lots of wet and poopy ones? And weight gain? Has he been checked for tongue tie? Even if you have a good milk supply it could be a milk transfer problem. Or he could just be looking for comfort. At this early stage though it can be normal to feed constantly to establish your supply.

The nappies are good. Lots of pee and poos.
I tried swaddling and putting him down for naps and he seems to fall asleep ok!
He hasn't been checked for tongue-tiedness but I went to the breastfeeding clinic and they said he was latching on ok.. we weighed him before and after feed that time and he seemed to have taken enough. But this was before he startrd rooting like this since it only happened this week.

Ok so sounds like he's getting plenty. Just feed on demand and trust your body to do what it needs to do would be my advice.

Could be a high suck need (my DS1 was like that) and a Pacifier helped.
Also there is a growth spurt around 3 weeks and extra feeding changes the content rather than volume of milk, so the extra sucking might be for a growth spurt too.
