Title: 7-week 3 hour A time
Post by: scheaashby on July 01, 2019, 04:50:53 am
My DS is 7-weeks and having a terrible time settling in the evening. His A time is consistently 3 hours right before he will stay down for the night. I know that is way too long for his age, but the settling can take 2 hours and involve inconsolable crying (usually) or just wide awake and unable to settle. I’m trying to follow 3-hour EASY, with A times usually between 1 hour and 1:15. I’ve heard of witching hour, but does it seem like I need to adjust A times? I feel so horrible for him when he won’t settle. He is my third and I never experienced this with the other two. And it is quite draining on me of course 😜

I should mention, he settles for naps and sleeps in the night, only waking to eat and immediately back to sleep.
