Title: 8 Month old on Movicol

Hope this is the right board.
My 8 month old is on Movicol (stool softener) due to constipation since we started weaning. I give it to him in the morning, he wakes up every 3 hours in the night with a gurgling gassy tummy and he wakes at 5am wanting to poo. Does anyone know what I can do to help this? Does his dosage need adjusting or should I give it to him later in the day perhaps?
