Title: Can teething cause frequent nursing?
Post by: JennVanessa1083 on August 22, 2019, 00:08:59 am
DD is 7 months and 2 weeks old. She is was nursing 3.25-3.75 even 4hts before. We do two meals a day and she eats about 2 tablespoons at each meal.

I think she’s nursing more often 2.5-3 hours for comfort. She’s very spitty too. Like no matter how feeds are spaced out she spits up. This started happening when it was obvious the teething was bothering her. She had reflux as a newborn but never serious enough for medication.

We do a top up before bed instead of introducing a 3rd meal.

Is this common? Any insight?

Yup, bf is comforting so if they feel pain they do it more.
