Title: Four month sleep regression
Post by: Julie Kenwell on December 05, 2019, 10:01:40 am
We have been in the four month sleep regression for a few weeks now and it is exhausting!
We have gone from one feed at night to now three with extra wakings some nights too!
How can I reduce the night feedings now as I feel they may have become a crutch rather than a necessity for nourishment?
He will be 16 weeks at the end of this week. Daytime routine is all over the place as a result of regression

By 4 months you could try not feeding on the first wakeup and see if that helps. I did that at around 6months, but if it's been less than 5 hours, you could just not feed and try and get him back to sleep with cuddles and pick up put down

Julie, any luck with that?

and do you mean to cut the dreamfeed out? Like what if they wake up at 10:30/11... skip that one or feed them and skip the 1am or whatever they wake up for??
