Post by: adulit on August 03, 2005, 12:16:54 pm
Hi there everyone! I'm new here...
I wonder what is the best way to freez my milk? My Noam is 1.5 months old and I am about yo get back to work a month from now. Should I buy a number of bottles for this purpos or is there any othere way to do it without staying with all the bottles afterwords?
Any idea will be wonderful

I'm not sure what products they have in Israel, but here you can buy freezer bags specially designed for breastmilk.  You pump, put in bags, label date and amount, let cool in fridge then store in freezer.  In a chest freezer they can last up to 6 months, less in a fridge/freezer.  Then to reheat, you can put them in the fridge during the day or in warm water (don't microwave).  If you can't buy the freezer bags there, you could probably order some online...
HTH!

for the useful information, I'll ask where I can find these bags here in Israel. It sounds like a good thing to use.
Thankes again for your support!   :)
