Title: Dropping Cluster Feeds at 8 weeks?
Post by: Livingmom on August 05, 2005, 01:17:32 am
Does anyone know WHY you should drop cluster feeding after your lo is 8 weeks old?

It says in Tracy's newest book--BW Solves all Your Problems--that you shouldn't cluster feed after 8 weeks old--but I have looked in the book and can't seem to find why?

Hi Judy!!!  Love your dd's name    (and you live kind of close too)...I never really understood why to drop the cluster feed either.  With that said, if it works go with it and don't worry about dropping it.  The only reason I can think of is that in the large scheme of things you don't want the majority of the calories to be at night - meaning the cluster feeds and dream feed.   :?:

hey there. i couldn`t figure this out either. the cluster feeds totally worked for us, so we kept them for several more months, so don`t worry if you feel you`re in a good routine right now...
