DS is on 4 hour EASY, EBF, and we haven't started solids yet. He wakes around 2 AM for a feed. I never minded his night feeding before, but he used to go to bed later and last until 3 or 4 AM. This would give me a good 5 or 6 hours of solid sleep.
The 2 AM feeding is really wearing on me now, so I'm wondering if I can (or should) introduce a DF at this point? Currently his last feed is around 6:15 and he lasts about 7-8 hours. So if I did a DF at 10:30, my hope is he might go until 5-6 AM? I get him up at 7 AM, but he always wakes early around 6:00.
Is a DF pointless at this age?

I never did the dream feed because we came late to BW and ds had stopped feeding in the night on his own. I would say that if you plan on starting solids soon to not bother with the dream feed but that is just my opinion :D .

You can. It probably wouldn't hurt to try (although I suppose it could disturb his sleep more...). If you do decide to offer the DF make sure you do it for at LEAST 3-4 nights to give it a chance to take affect.
