My 7 month old DD is waking at 1am then 3 or 4am to BF and then waking again at 5 and then 6 to start her day. I dont' think she really settles back to sleep after the 4am feeding. The results are a three hour nap in the am and then 1 to 2 hours in the afternoon. She's in bed by 7:00.
Any one had the same problem and/or thoughts on how to change this?
Thanks for your thougths.

Hi, I am going through the same thing. I have a 4 month old who wakes at least three times a night. She does great when we first put her down and even after her first feeding, but after her second feeding, she will not go back to sleep unless she comes to my bed. I am so exhausted. Please let me know if you find a cure. My pediatrician even recommended I go see a sleep specialist. Not sure what to do. Thanks.

I am in the same boat. Pj is just over 4 months, and for a while was sleeping through to 5 (with a dream feed). lately, up at least 3 times a night, and oftern for long stretches at a time. Then, as of 4 or 5, ther is no way to get him back to sleep. I am so exhausted and discouraged. Please pass on any advice you receive!

It sounds like it might be developmental. This age is notorious for wakings because they are learning so many new things. The important thing is to be consistent and make sure you don't start any accidental parenting.
If you don't swaddle, I would highly recommend it. Hopefully today I'm going to make a sticky with pictures of the swaddle we used for my dd at this age, and it was really a lifesaver.
also, make sure that when your baby wakes you don't rush in. Unless baby is crying, try to let him/her settle back to sleep.
