Title: When do they "growth spurt" ?
Post by: a_astorga on August 15, 2005, 15:17:06 pm
Hi my son is 6.5 months old and I was wondering when he is supposed to get his growth spurt. A week ago he will wake up crying really loud more than once a nite so I fed him twice in the middle of the night, that lasted for about 3 days. Is this a growth spurt? He seemed pretty hungry. If not, how long does the growth spurt last and at what age do they get it? I think my baby is a textbook baby. can someone please tell me what textbook babies are supposed to be like?

Thanks

That sounds like a growth spurt to me.  Look for another one at around 9 months and then again at around a year old.  After that I am not sure when they are supposed to happen.

my DS is a textbook baby and he is 6.5 month old too.

when he is having his growth spurt, he wakes up early from his naps, wake up early in the morning,  down all his bottles in minutes, sometimes fussy all day long.

after his growth spurt, he will loose interest in his bottle as if he has enough of the milk  :?
