DS is 7 wks old and I've pretty much been a zombie during this first part of his life! In order to get some sleep over the last few days I've been feeding DS before I go to bed and then pumping the other side for my husband to give the DF so I can go straight to bed.
It has helped tremendously for me to get some sleep and feel like a real person! However, this means that I'm not feeding him until 3- 3:30 am. Will this hurt my supply? Or is it ok as long as we continue this way?

Sounds like you're doing fine to me. I learned from experience that lack of sleep is the worst thing for your milk supply - so catch up on those zzzz's & see what happens!!

IŽll second that! Get some rest and drink up! WATER THAT IS!! :lol: 16 glasses a day so you have plenty of liquid to go by!
Your breasts will adapt to the demand your baby makes so donŽt worry!

Shouldn't be a problem at all - like the other posters said, fluids and rest are really important in maintaining your supply. Your body adapts to what your baby needs, so if you're always feeding one side for that feed and then pumping, that's what your body will keep producing!

That's a very smart thing to do! This will not only give you some rest but it will also increase your bm supply. I'm sure you've noticed that, when you wake up at 3 AM, your breasts are pretty full.
As the other ladies have said, lots of fluids and sleep will keep your supply intact. Just make sure not to always feed him from the same side. You'll need to switch off.
