Title: 3 months really magic?
Post by: Mom2X&F&V on August 17, 2005, 18:36:00 pm
Hi... I wanna know if the 3 month old is really magical as babies stop crying by nights or because of colic or reflux and everything changes... What you think....

"they" say 3 months is magic.  I think 3 months is magic b/c we figure them out a little more, able to read them better, routine almost turn into schedules, by that I mean things get more regular etc.  Seems like you know a little better at what to expect.

i know with baby #1 it did seem like at 3 mos things got better.

I can honestly say that at three months for me, things were much better!  It was more with myself though.  I felt more secure w/ myself as a new mother.  I knew my ds very well, his routine, his schedule, etc.  I've been blessed w/ an angel baby though, so he's very easy to read and figure out.  He's been sleeping through the night since 11 weeks old (w/ a df at 10:30pm).  I was so scared when I first came home w/ my ds, so by 3 months, I felt like an old pro!
Take care,

We haven't figured out everything yet, because at 3-6 months everything dramatically changes.  But I will say I feel a lot more confident to handle her, and I think I know her really well.  That is an awesome feeling.

Yup!  It was ME that got trained on surviving with less sleep!
