What happened to Activity forum? I can only see polls and couple of messages.

If posts in the forum haven't received reply's within 30days they get auto-deleted to keep the database size down. Pruning doesn't apply to announcements & polls.

Yes, but yesterday all messages were gone (except for polls). I know there was activity in the forum in the last 30 days and these topics are gone too. Today there are only two new topics.

Well that does sound a little strange, I'll ask Andy if he can shed some light when he has some time. Are you able to remember any of the topic titles?

I noticed that too, but then noticed that the other forums were getting pruned as well while I was watching it, and wasn't sure if there were other old posts or not.

We seemed to be having some problems with the boards autopruning -- I'll let Andy know something whacky's going on.

Hi,
According to my log files the forum "activity" was manually "pruned" with no value for "the number of days since last post" field. I'd already disabled the "auto pruning" feature in the administration area but I missed the manual pruning options!
Needless to say it's been taken care of now but that won't bring back the messages!
Any idea how many posts were lost? If it's thousands, I may be able to restore some/all from backups but it's quite a big job so there would need to be lots!

Oops. I don't know exactly how many message were lost, but that's a high traffic forum. I am not emotionally attached to any of the message, just thought I would report the issue. I don't know if there are others there who miss them.
