Title: Strange new trick
Post by: deb on September 18, 2005, 13:50:58 pm
Yesterday was one of Natalie's best nap days ever, but how it happened is a mystery to me.

She'd been up a LOT the night before and DH and I were watching Battlestar Galactica so were up late, so yesterday morning he took Josie to the open house at his work and I slept as much as Nat would let me.

She was up early and went down for a nap around 9-ish, I think, so I went back to bed. At 10:30 she woke up, so I nursed her - AND SHE WENT BACK TO SLEEP!!!! (Needless to say, so did I! :)) She woke up in another 45 minutes.

She went down for her next nap at noonish, woke 45 minutes later, I nursed her again in the living room this time, and she STILL fell asleep!!! She didn't wake till THREE!!! Those were her only naps, but honestly, she got more sleep in those two naps than she sometimes does all day, sometimes two days.

No luck with that today, though, only short naps. I SWEAR, no two days are like each other..... She's too busy teething - big bumps, ready to pop - and CRAWLING on her hands and knees to want to sleep properly.
