Title: Wrong no. of posts on signature

Hi - I have just noticed today that the total no. of posts that I have ontop of my avatar has dropped by about 600????

Not too sure if anyone else has had this problem?

Maybe they cleared a bunch of historical posts?  Looking around, it looks like many people's #'s are down.  That would be my guess!

Holy Crap!! Never noticed  :lol:   I'm down a thousand or so!!  But I've moved up to #8 in the total posters now....wahahahahahaha!!! :wink:

Yeah mines down 250-300  :cry:  :cry:  :cry: , I was trying for 1000 too while I'm on holidays  :lol:

But we have all just notched it up by 1  :lol:

just came on to post the same thing.  I noticed mine went down by about 100!  I was almost at 200--ya, ya,I know I'm a newbie!

but seriously, anyone know what happened?  any chance of them every coming back?

I know this is really LAME... but it makes me a little sad! :( I had nearly 5000 posts. I've had a lot to say over the years.  :oops: Maybe these new numbers represent how many posts are currently active, meaning it doesn't count the posts that have been pruned? Either way, it makes me sad -- and harder to track down names for PM since I usually only have to skim through a couple of pages of posters to find someones name. :(

Hi folks,
I've been making behind the scenes changes sine we moved to my server a few months ago in order to maintain a high level of performance and reliability. Although the post counts didn't pose any potential problem, I decided to bring everything up to date.

The post counts now represent posts which currently exist rather than all the posts which were pruned over the past few years. I've disabled all "automatic" pruning now so this shouldn't happen at this level again.
