Title: Teeth or time for 4 hour routine?
Post by: CaedensMama on October 13, 2005, 15:10:21 pm
Caeden has been getting up alot at night - like 2-4 times - every 2 hours last night.....      I am so tired!

Anyway, he is just 4 months old and is teething for sure. Are the teeth causing this and it will pass in a few more nights or is he ready for a 4 hour routine and I need to move toward that and see if it helps.

He is sleeping anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours for naps and going 1 1/2 to 2 hours between naps. We usually get 2 long naps each day and the rest are 45 minutes. I cannot complain about the daytime sleep
But nights are driving me crazy

Any suggestions or advice on what I should do?

Are you sure he is teething (red cheeks, sore bottom, swollen red gums) at this age they all start to dribble & chew things so it isn't a good indication of teething,
Also if it was teething I would think his day sleep would be bad too i think.
So my thought is it is time to move to 4hour Easy & get 2 long naps (2 hours) & one short nap (45mins). I may be he is getting too much day sleep & not tired enough for night
