Title: How much is enough fruit/formula?
Post by: Mom2X&F&V on October 20, 2005, 15:07:07 pm
Hi... My dd is 5 mo. how much fruit should she be eating? Do you measure by ounces the food, then how many ounces of fruit and how many of formula if she was having 6 of formula. How much formula will they have now and how many ounces of food... do you count and sum ounces of food and formula to make 6 oz. total of food? I have no idea how much is enough cause sometimes she can have 2 T of food and not a single oz. of milk... then? Please can anyone tell me? She is on a 4 hr. easy and eating 3 times a day, cereal and fruit.

Just in case you look at this post before the other one, send me your e-mail address and I will send a full eating plan to you outlining  how much of everything you should give and when.

All babies are different & Under 6mo if they are on solids it should always be after a milk feed & as much as they want to take, be that one mouthful or more. Milk really is all they need & solids should be treated as the after meal "chocolate" so to speak!
