Title: How many times to bf a 5 1/2 month old on e.a.s.y.
Post by: Olihvia's Mommy on October 28, 2005, 02:15:30 am
I just got my baby back on e.a.s.y. She had been off it for a month or so. She is 5.5 months old. I was feeding on demand before and it seemed I'd feed every 2-3 hours.

Now that she is on e.a.s.y. she is feeding every 4 hours. Is that what everyone is calling the 4 hour e.a.s.y.? She fed 6x today and that included the before bed feed.

Is this normal? It seems a lot less then when I was feeding on demand.

Is this normal for an 5.5 month old? She gets cereal in the mornings as well. Just started switching from cereal at night to the morning cause she is also a TERRIBLE  night sleeper.  :(

Thanks for your help.

My ds also eats 6 times a day.  We just started solids today, and he's been doing really well on just 6 bf's a day.  I know it doesn't seem like enough, but it is!
HTH.

Liam is 5mo & off the scale size wise (size of a 9-10mo, lenght & weight)
He takes 5 bf/24hours, occasionally 6, but that is rare. 5-6 bf is normal for this age.
