Title: Breastfed baby refusing to take the bottle
Post by: kirstyley on November 13, 2005, 13:27:31 pm
Hi

My 1 month old baby refuses to take milk from a bottle. Has anyone else had and resolved this problem? Has anyone tried the haberman bottles which the baby whisperer reccomends? Do they work?

Many thanks

Kirsty

We had the exact same problem, and we bought the Haberman feeder.  It really did work - the jiggling technique when they start to fuss is very good too and does work.  We only needed the Haberman feeder for about a month or so, she then started to take any bottle we offered her.  I'd definitely recommend it.

Hope this helps.

I tried a bottle with a rubber teat - as opposed to silicone.  That worked for us - we've had no problems since - he took to it straight away.
