Hello!
My DD is 6.5 mo. old. I would like to try to get her used to an occasional bottle. I just don’t know much about bottles yet since DD has been ebf. I have some Avent bottles that I plan on using. Can anybody tell me what size or number nipple I should use? Thanks!

Hi, dd is 5 1/2 months and gets one bottle (avent) a day. We started using the #2 about a month ago. hth

Our dd is 11 weeks old and is using the #2 nipple now. She is also ebf. I express for the dream feed and the occasional outing. Here's the avent website with descriptions of the nipple sizes. Hope this helps

Thanks Kayna & Rachel! I guess I'll give the #2 a try and see how that goes. I did not know of the Avent website: Thanks for letting me know!

can depend sometimes on your letdown....I had an overactive letdown so baby was used to it coming quickly and he would not take the Avent bottles at all.....want to buy a set.....haha :D anyhow i had to go to an alltogether different nipple and a fast flow even though he is only 3 months.....good luck

i think after 3 months a stage 2 works well, especially if you had a good letdown. :)

Last week i swapped from size 2 to size 3 then today i thought i would try the size 4 and he drinks better from them so size 4 for me! :) Jude will be 6 months in a few days.
