I happened to read the back of an apple juice bottle and it said gluten free. :? I thought that a bit odd . Do some end up with gluten? Just wondering and figured someone here would know.

I would think it's more for marketing purposes rather than juices having gluten (although you never know, it's hidden in so much stuff  ). It's probably so those avoiding gluten know that's it's a "definite" rather than relying on dodgy or incomplete labelling.
HTH :)

I agree. I don't know anything about gluten but since I have to avoid dairy it's funny some of the foods that are labeled Dairy Free. It's like, "well, duh........" But I must say it's still a surprise at some foods that do sneak it in too. Guess it just reminds you to read those labels.

Actually I've remembered that juices CAN have gluten, they often add "natural flavours", which are often wheat based - go figure? :? Doesn't tell you on the bottle that there's wheat since it's disguised in some seemingly innocuous ingredient.
