Title: Burning nipple
Post by: Angel Face on December 10, 2005, 23:06:03 pm
I have had this before... burning nipple... I can't remember what causes it and what to do to help it?
I hurts when BF - not bad... was it from a bad latch at some 4am feeding that I am not fully awake for???
Or is it yeast, or engorgement... or blocked duct... like I said I have had the feeling before and I have had all the possible problems before (with dd#1), I just can't remember which one it goes with...

Usually if it burns, it's a sign of a yeast infection, I think. Any way you could see your doc or an lc to confirm?  You could always just do the gentian violet, but a big pain if it's not that!
