Title: 4-5ish am feed. How much?
Post by: estherofi20 on January 07, 2006, 16:18:07 pm
hello everyone :D .My Ds is almost 10 WO and he usually eats between 3 and 4.5 oz each feed, i give him a DF at 11 pm and he wakes up hungry at 4-5ish am to feed, should i reduce this feeding and try to give the oz. during the day (if the little guy will take them :? )or just give him what he wants and that wee hours of the morning (by the way he just eats, i change his diper really fast and goes back to sleep without interaction)?

Since he's so young yet, I would continue to feed him what he wants.  :D

Hi

Your LO should let you know when he is ready to drop a feed.  My ds started to drop his breakfast so i gradually reduced the 3/4am feed so he would take more at breakfast (7am).  It worked after about a week, but let your lo decide when he is ready to drop a feed.  doesn't matter which one but he will start being uninterested in one of them.

I think its time for him to drop the 4/5ish am feed because he eats SSSOOOOO little during breakfast, i will reduce his 4/5ish feed let-s say... to half of it perhaps :?:
