Title: Do toddlers normally sleep curled up in a ball?
Post by: LukasMom on January 12, 2006, 08:16:20 am
I was just wondering if they all sleep curled up in a ball at age 1 1/2 or so.  And when they stop sleeping like that?
Also, when do they start to stay under a blanket?
My dd still sleeps like a mouse curled up in a little nest.

My 16mth ds sleeps curled up on his hands and knees with his bum in the air   (sooo cute) and 1st i would always go in and stretch him out onto his tummy but he would be back in his ball when id check on him again!!

I have tried blankets a few times and all of those time he woke upset tangled up in them, so i'll be sticking to sleep bags for awhile

My ds sleeps sprawled out all over the place!  So, no he doesn't keep blankets on at all either!

Yep - Jack does bum in the air, on his knees - we call it his praying to Mecca position.

Ella didn't keep the duvet on until about 2.5 yrs - I'd creep back in after she was asleep and cover her - both in sleeping bags until nearly 2.
