I am sorry to post another thread on this, but I have read the other ones and they don't seem applicable!
As you can (probably) see my avatar is this!
I have used photobucket shortcut, as when I try to upload my pic, I get the same error mesage re the forum not being writable.
any suggetions pls?

I just got the same error (The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.) when I tried to add pictures to a post.

Please help.

Mine too has dissappeared and can not put a new one... Any advice?    :'(
